Leonard Barrie Corbin, known as Barry Corbin (born October 16, 1940) [1] made a guest appearance on M*A*S*H as Sergeant Joe Vickers in the Season 9 episode "Your Retention, Please" (episode #7). He is known for his role as Maurice Minniefield in the CBS-TV series Northern Exposure (1990–1995), which earned him two consecutive Primetime Emmy Award nominations, as well as appearances in the films Lonesome Dove (1993), WarGames (1983), and in Anger Management (1998).
His other notable credits include the films Urban Cowboy (1980), Stir Crazy (1980), Any Which Way You Can (1980), and No Country for Old Men (2007) as well as the television series Dallas (1979–1984), One Tree Hill, The Closer (2007–2012), The Ranch (2016–2020), and in the TV series Yellowstone (2021).
Corbin was born in Lamesa, Texas.
