My favourite parts

I can't say as a fan that I have a favourite episode of M*A*S*H as indicated in my profile. I do have episodes that I won't watch as mentioned there because I just don't like them for whatever the reason. But I do have favourite scenes or lines.

My all time favourite was from Dear Peggy in season four, when the Koreans learning English said to Frank Burns in perfect unison "You tell em ferret face!". I have a podcast and this line forms part of the intro to it. I do have other favourites;

Pierce, that is a childish, totally immature and petulant suggestion.....When do we nail the swine? (Charles Winchester in April Fools in Season 8)

Least Imaginative M*A*S*H Question Ever Asked.

What's your favorite episode? And why?

This has almost certainly been asked before on this forum, and I'm sure it's been asked on the overall internet about 10,000 times, but there's a reason for that. It's a great show and a great question about that show. So let's have fun!

I'll start: "Crisis," S2, E21. Supply lines have been cut and personnel are forced to bunk together to conserve resources. Ends with Henry Blake in a nearly empty office (because almost everything has been stolen to be burned for heat). Reason why I love it so much: It encapsulates everything I love about M*A*S*H. It's funny as hell, yet it deals with a serious aspect of war (MASH units really did go through tough periods of supply withdrawal). It combines the elements …

Best M*A*S*H Scene 'Button' Ever?

Most of you probably know what a 'button' is if you've watched enough interviews with sitcom actors, but just to be clear: A 'button' is a really funny line to end a scene, so that the scene goes out on a big laugh. I'm curious to know what others think is the best-ever M*A*S*H 'button.' I'll nominate two to start the ball rolling. I think I like both of these so much because each one sends Alda into hysterics. Watching him descend into fits of laughter has always been one of my favorite parts of the show; who can forget how Hawkeye loses it in "I Hate A Mystery" when the soot lands on Henry Blake's face?

So here are my nominees, and I can't wait to hear yours.

Nominee #1: Season 3, episode 9, "Alcoholics Unanimous." Frank Burns is in charge …

Klinger's U. S. address.

I just looked up the address reported to be where he was born. Well, Google Maps shows a lot filled with trees and and other greenery.--PatrickJ.Shannon (talk) 17:58, May 5, 2019 (UTC)

Warrior of the Snake

I'm a warrior. I got ninjitsu, bikenjutsu, skateboarding and even some command scores. One day I'll get a snake tattooed on me. But only after I am fully muscular. I've dedicated a good few years on wiki researching snakes and so to focus on my battle-ship I understand I am the Monsignifer Lancehead Viper.

I really loved M*A*S*H from movie to final TV episode, but one thing I missed . . and wanted in the final episode.

I suspect from the title of this blog many people know already what I'm going to say, but here goes anyway.

I miss the M*A*S*H TV series (at least once) including the word to the theme song, "Suicide is Painless."

Here they are . . . And no I do NOT advocate suicide in anyway shape or form, period, end of story! I simply like the song (melody and the words made me think).

Through early morning fog I see Visions of the things to be The pains that are withheld for me I realize and I can see...

That suicide is painless It brings on many changes And I can take or leave it if I please I try to find a way to make All our little joys relate Without that ever-present hate But now I know that it's too late, and...

The game of life is hard to play I'm go…

Wayne Rogers, Trapper John on ‘M.A.S.H.,’ Dies at 82

Wayne Rogers, best known for playing Captain “Trapper” John McIntyre on TV comedy series “M.A.S.H.,” died Thursday in Los Angeles from complications of pneumonia. He was 82.

He appeared on “M.A.S.H.” for only the first three of 11 seasons, but the army surgeon was one of the most popular characters on the show, known for his repartee with Alan Alda’s Hawkeye Pierce. He was reportedly frustrated by the show’s focus on Alda when he quit after three seasons, with Mike Farrell replacing him as B.J. Hunnicut.

Entertainment Tonight first reported the death of the actor who also appeared on “City of Angels,” “House Calls” and “Murder, She Wrote.”

Rogers was born in Alabama and attended Princeton. While serving in the Navy, he started acting and work…
