Captain Pratt, US Army HQ was a character who appeared once in the Season 4 episode of M*A*S*H titled "The Late Captain Pierce". The part of Pratt was played by Eldon Quick, who also appeared as Captain Sloan in the episodes, "The Incubator" in Season 2, "Payday" in Season 3, and in "Our Finest Hour" in Season 7.

In the episode "The Late Captain Pierce", Hawkeye is errantly declared dead by the US Army. He learns of the mix-up when B.J. receives a phone call from Hawkeye's father in the middle of the night, then a corpsman is sent to the MASH to collect his body. HQ sends Captain Pratt, who is similar in demeanor to Captain Sloan (who Eldon Quick had played in two earlier episodes), a rather stuffed-shirt, bespectacled type, to explain the error and the incredibly complex way it will be fixed. Pratt's cavalier attitude, in quipping dryly that Hawkeye was a "un-person", only infuriates Pierce. Unlike Sloan, however, Pratt seems to find a bit of humor in this situation - which enrages Hawkeye even more and drives him to near desertion.
