Carl Kleinschmitt wrote two Season one episodes of the CBS-TV series M*A*S*H, titled "Sometimes You Hear the Bullet" and "L.I.P. (Local Indigenous Personnel)". Carl has written episodes of many TV series, which also include The Dick Van Dyke Show, Gomer Pyle: USMC, The Courtship of Eddie's Father, The Sandy Duncan Show, which he also created, The Love Boat, The Brady Bunch Variety Hour. He got his start in television as a writer for The Joey Bishop Show in the mid 1960s.
