About the Colonel[]
When Klinger is brought in to face a courts martial, charged with being part of a black market ring after Hawkeye and B.J. received a gift from the grateful father of a patient of theirs - a brand new, super expensive Polaroid camera, which the prosecution alleges, was acquired from the ring by Klinger, this after the real one had went missing. The prosecuting attorney, a Lieutenant Rollins (Jack Blessing) manages to drag damaging testimony for Klinger, while making a babbling fool out of Charles, who tries to defend him.
Col. Walsh, after hearing both sides, is about to render his decision, and the case starts to look really bad for Klinger.
But, both Hawkeye and B.J. come to save the day, having returned to the trial after being able to set a trap for the real culprit, a crooked M.P. while they were in surgery.
Seeing this new evidence, Col. Drake, in saying that "a serious miscarriage of justice almost occurred", decides to declare Klinger innocent!
