The Crooked M.P. who stole the camera Hawkeye and B.J. received a gift from the grateful father of a patient of theirs in "Snap Judgement" (Season 10, episode #7) appears in "Snappier Judgement" (episode #8). The part of the crooked MP is played in the episode by Monty Bane.
About the MP and Klinger's trial[]
The crooked M.P. had apparently been stealing from the 4077 for some time, as he had been implied to have stolen multiple items during surgery sessions, including Klinger's watch, and had been selling them to dealers on the black market. When Klinger is brought before a Courts Martial proceeding after being charged with the theft of a missing Polaroid land camera which the surgeons received as a gift of appreciation by the grateful father of a patient they successfully operated on, and that he helped in receiving via the mail in the first place, things look really bad, especially when the prosecuting lawyer, a Lieutenant Rollins (Jack Blessing), makes Maj. Winchester, who tries to defend him, look quite inept, as it seems that the real culprit, who continues to strike at the 4077th, will never be caught.
But, in the nick of time, as the trial's presiding judge, Colonel Drake (Peter Hobbs), is about to render what is presumably a "guilty" decision, Hawkeye and B.J., who had accompanied Klinger and Charles to the trial, but had to leave and return to camp due to forecast deluge of incoming wounded at the 4077th, returned with evidence able to set a trap for the real culprit, the crooked M.P. while they were in surgery, as several other arresting MP's arrive with the crooked one, which exonerates Klinger.
