George Morgan (born on November 17, 1932). He was an actor, known for Chafed Elbows (1966), Greaser's Palace (1972) and Putney Swope (1969). George had the distinction of being the first actor to appear in the role of Father Francis Mulcahy in the pilot episode of the CBS-TV series M*A*S*H, but was replaced by William Christopher two episodes later.
Born and raised in Worcester, MA, George resided out on Martha's Vineyard (Wampanoag: Noepe) which is south of Cape Cod.
