Sergeant Verbanic is a US army sergeant who makes a one-time appearance in the Season 10 episode titled "Wheelers and Dealers". The part of Sergeant Verbanic is played by Anthony Charnota.

Sergeant Verbanic visits the 4077th MASH and joins in the weekly poker game. B.J. has been upset that his wife has had to get a job to help with household expenses and so he is out to make as much money as he can. He bets aggressively, upping the stakes. Under the pressure, most of the others at the table fold. As Father Mulcahy comments, "First time I've ever seen poker played with the Marquess of Queensberry rules." Verbanic, however, believes that B.J. is bluffing and stays in the game. B.J. finally pushes the stake to $100, throwing in his wedding ring as well. This is too much even for Verbanic. He folds, adding that he doesn't need a wedding ring as he is not married anyway.
