He would play one other named character, an M.P. named Corporal Boone in Season 6 "Change Day".
About Lieutenant Rogers[]
Rogers has been brought to the MASH after surviving a chopper crash, with multiple internal injuries. The O.R. staff are prepping Rogers for surgery when Frank stops them, saying that he cannot be anesthetized because he is from army counterintelligence. They need to have someone from army C.I.D. present first in case he says anything sensitive under sedation. Frank tells Rogers that he has notified H.Q. and someone should be here within an hour. He tells Rogers, "And I guarantee you you're absolutely in no danger, I think." The severely wounded Rogers only gets one line, muttering a weak, "Thanks, doc."
Later, Hawkeye and Trapper hear of Rogers' condition and believe they cannot wait and so they proceed to operate on him despite Frank's objections.
Rogers is saved but a C.I.D. man, Captain Halloran arrives. Halloran, who is most likely Colonel Sam Flagg (Edward Winter) undercover, tells Frank Burns that what happened is a very serious violation and goes to the Swamp to arrest Hawkeye and Trapper. However, on hearing from them that Rogers didn't say anything under sedation except "honey, you're the greatest", Halloran decides he has wasted his time rushing to the MASH. He decides to join the poker game in the Swamp.
