About Mrs. Kwang[]
Kwang (played by Soon-Tek Oh) is a KATUSA orderly at the 4077th. As his wife is about to give birth, Hawkeye and Trapper get Radar to wrangle a 3-day pass from Henry. Kwang tries to leave for his village but Frank, who is officer-of-the-day, stops him, insisting that the pass is forged. Henry is puzzled. The signature is definitely his, but he doesn't remember signing it. Kwang tries to run away again and is arrested for desertion.
Hawkeye and Trapper convince Henry that Kwang cannot be charged for desertion because he had a valid 3-day pass with Henry's genuine signature on it. Henry gives up and says he will drop the desertion charges but Kwang still cannot have his 3-day pass. Radar and the doctors appeal to Henry's compassionate side and get him to agree to send a bus to collect Mrs. Kwang from her village so that she can give birth at the 4077th.
On the way to the 4077th, Mrs. Kwang goes into labor. Radar, of course, panics. In the end the bus arrives safely at the 4077th. Mrs. Kwang has given birth to a baby boy, and Radar has passed out. The labor scene in the bus is where the Mrs. Kwang's character gets her only line, where she answers Hawkeye's question about what kind of pain she is feeling.
