==About Nancy Sue==

When Henry goes away in Tokyo for some R&R, he extends his trip by two days, and we soon learn why: Henry is in love. Not just love, but “head-over-heels, puppy-dog-in-love.” Henry meets Nancy Sue, who is a typist/clerk at an Air Force office there in Tokyo, and he shows her picture to Hawkeye and Trapper. Hawkeye, who, along with Trapper, is quite impressed with the young girl's looks, but asks, ''“You’re in love with her mother?”'', also sarcastically adding, ''"Did you ask her age, before the gym teacher called the police?"''

It turns out Nancy is only 20 years old, and Henry has not decided what to do about Lorraine, his wife and mother of three kids. The captains think he is just having a fling and the crush will pass, but get concerned Henry may do something foolish. They're less than excited when Henry's fling is coming to visit the 4077th this weekend.

When Nancy Sue hears ''“Buckle Down Winsocki” ''on the jukebox in the Officers' Club, she says it reminds her of her cheerleading days at Ohio State. Hawkeye eggs her on and asks her to do a cheer, much to Henry's embarrassment. Nancy Sue complies and puts on a cheer routine right in in the middle of the club, complete with flips and splits and makes Henry beam like a proud... well, uhh, Father! 

When Henry and Trapper get called away for surgery, Hawkeye ends up escorting Miss Nancy Sue back to her tent. Once inside, The amorous Nancy Sue then plants a “goodnight tonsillectomy” French kiss on Hawkeye, who enjoys it, but quickly leaves and tells Trapper about what just happened. Trapper tells Hawk that Radar had, in the nick of time, just arranged a telephone call for Henry to talk to his wife. when they rush to Henry's office, they find Henry speaking to Lorraine about her overdrawn checkbook and to his son about being the man of the house while he's in Korea.

Henry, then, after deep contemplation, tells Hawk and Trapper that the girl who really is “the one” is $68 overdrawn on her checking account. Relieved, the Captains retire for the night, WIth Nancy Sue's duplicity unmentioned. Henry then thanks Radar for placing the call to Lorraine, stating she was grateful and he then wishes he had made the call himself sooner. Henry, in choosing not to upset his happy marriage to Lorraine, then is more than eager to see young Nancy Sue off the next morning and relieved that he did nothing further to jeopardize his relationship with his wife.
