Throughout the run of the series, he was mostly referred to by his character's last name, "Goldman". However, on at least one episode, he was referred to by his character's first name, "Roy". Goldman appeared as a recurring background character on another popular CBS-TV series, Hogan's Heroes, and also made appearances in three films, the 1975 film At Long Last Love, the made-for-TV film Sherlock Holmes in New York (1976), and as Adolf Hitler in To Be or Not to Be (1983).
