Sherry Steffens made an appearance as Nurse Able in the M*A*S*H episode "The Late Captain Pierce". She also appeared in the 1979 film Jokes My Folks Never Told Me.
The closing credits in the episode of "The Late Captain Pierce" clearly state that Sherry Steffens was Nurse Able. This may be a stage name. In an article of the Hannibal Courier Post (remember Hannibal, Missouri?), Connor Snyder stated in a detailed interview that she played the part of Nurse Able in the episode.[1] After her acting career, Connor Snyder founded Kids 4 Broadway which aims to encourage and teach drama skills to children in order to promote their self-confidence and feeling of self-worth.[2][3][4]
