A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Susan is best known for her roles as Hazel Lamphere in the CBS-TV series The Waltons, Dr. Sharon Knowles and Nurse Carol on the 1980's NBC-TV daytime soap series Santa Barbara, Marsha on ABC-TV's Growing Pains, Mrs. Steuben on ABC-TV's Family Matters series, Mrs. Patterson in Full House, Sandy in the ABC-TV sitcom series Home Improvement, Mrs. Phugly on The Oblongs, a rehab nurse in Million Dollar Baby, Cynthia on AMC's Mad Men TV series and several others. Susan provides the voice of Dodie and Hoodsey's mother, Joann Bishop on the animated TV series As Told by Ginger.
Music career[]
Following Susan's critically acclaimed multimedia concert and recording project, "Jazz Aviary: A Celebration of Birds & the Universal Music We Share", where she collaborated with musicians Rich Eames and Jerry Kalaf, the Susan Krebs Band released Everything Must Change (2012), featuring musician Chuck Manning.[1]
