- Interwiki links only work for wikis hosted on the same server. Although a lot of the people involved are the same, Wikicities and the WMF are separate legal entities, using separate servers. Kmweber 16:01, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
- Interwikis work for other wikis too. It's done with an interwiki map hosted on Central (and on Meta at Wikimedia). So Wikipedia:User:Sannse will work just as well as Wikia:User:Sannse (you can use pipes to tidy both links of course) -- sannse (talk) 16:42, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
