The water tower is the main water supply for the 4077th MASH. It consists of a cylindrical water tank mounted on top of a tall wooden platform. Water is brought by tankers and pumped into the tank for the use of the camp. The water tower is located east of the row of accomodation tents next to Sophie's corral. Further east of the water tower is the motor pool. Just opposite the water tower is the Officers' Club. This explains why there is often a water tanker parked next to the club building.
- In The Colonel's Horse (Season 5), Hawkeye and BJ attach a hose to the spigot in the water tank in order to pump a large quantity of water to use to treat Sophie. What is strange about this episode is that the camp personnel first had to form a bucket brigade to fill the tank with water. Where did this water come from?
- In They Call the Cold Wind Korea (Season 7), the water tower collapses and injures a number of camp personnel including Lieutenant Bigelow.

In this map of the camp, the water tower is location number 16.
In this scene from Change Day (Season 7), the water tower can be seen at the left edge of the picture. Right of it is Sophie's corral. Further right (partially obstructed by the camp sign) are the accomodation tents under a camouflage net.
Note the water tanker parked next to the Officers' Club in this scene from "The Price" (Season 7). The camera is approximately where the water tower is.
